It shifted from guest-heavy interviews to more solo, opinion-driven content over time .

Overall

Midnight Hostility Radio is:

A modern throwback to edgy talk radio, built around uncensored opinions, unpredictability, and nostalgia for old-school broadcasting.

Reckless Airwaves Radio

Reckless Airwaves Radio (2020-2025)

Reckless Airwaves Radio was an independent, internet-based radio show / podcast built around the personality of Sam Namo. Moving away from the boxing image of Team LeftJab Radio, Namo changed the name of the show to RAR to make it more in line with the guests that came on which were radio, sports, media, wrestling & to a lesser degree boxing.

What it actually was

At its core, Reckless Airwaves Radio was:

  • A free-form talk show
  • Driven by raw, unfiltered conversation
  • Focused on entertainment, wrestling, media, and personal commentary

It didn’t follow a tight format. Episodes could shift between:

  • Interviews
  • Rants
  • Arguments or debates
  • Off-the-cuff humor

Where it fit in

It was part of a broader era where:

  • Traditional radio was declining
  • Personalities started building their own platforms online which led to lesser interviews as celebrities were starting their own podcasts
  • Shows became more personality-driven than production-driven

Reckless Airwaves was essentially trying to bring back that “wild west” radio energy, but through internet broadcasting instead of terrestrial radio.

Legacy

Reckless Airwaves Radio continued where Team LeftJab left off but with alot less boxing content. It evolved into having guests from not only sports but comedy and radio as well as topic based discussions.

Team LeftJab Radio

Team LeftJab Radio (2011-2020)

What was Team LeftJab Radio?

Team LeftJab Radio was an independent radio show/podcast centered on combat sports—mainly boxing created in 2011. Originally called Team LeftJab Boxing Radio, it was an interview show that became a stop for many boxers to promote upcoming fights or discuss a recent fight.

It was founded and hosted by Sam Namo, and became known in the mid-2010s for its mix of interviews, opinionated commentary, and fan-driven discussion.

What it was about

  • Combat sports focus: Covered boxing, MMA, and pro wrestling and eventually baseball, radio and comedy.
  • Interviews: Featured fighters, trainers, promoters, and media personalities. Big boxing names such as Floyd Mayweather Sr., Amir Khan, Ryan Garcia, Deontay Wilder & Antonio Tarver just to name a few came on. But it was the endless list of up and coming fighters that came on that really drove the show’s following. As time went on, guests from the world of wrestling, radio and comedy came on as well. Some notable guests included former WCW President Eric Bischoff, Fred The Elephant Boy & Stuttering John from The Howard Stern Show & Wyatt Imus (Don Imus’ son).
  • Unfiltered style: Similar in tone to uncensored radio—raw, direct, and not overly polished

Platform & reach

  • Distributed online through podcast-style episodes and social media.
  • Built a niche following among hardcore fight fans & later branhed out to other fanbased besides boxing.
  • Connected to other projects like The Wrestling Estate and online radio communities

Style & vibe

The show leaned more toward the “old-school radio” energy with an interview heavy format. It was an anything goes show instead of the planned out interview shows of the time.

Legacy

Team LeftJab carved out a place in the boxing and early podcast genre during a time when internet radio and podcasts were starting to take off. It’s remembered mostly by fans who followed underground or non-traditional sports talk content…especially boxing.
